In Case You Were Wondering…Cold Calling Works

I spent my morning with the executive director of an art gallery, discussing programming and collaboration opportunities and how merging creative disciplines is a powerful way to perpetuate the arts.

I hate cold calling, but I’ve also learned that you can only be turned down if you give someone the opportunity to say no. You also can open the door to exciting news things, because you know what? Sometimes they say yes. In this case it was an invitation to spirited conversation over a cup of tea in an inspiring space that may just become the site of some of my offerings.

Stay turned. If my proposal gets gallery board approval, I’ll be sharing some fun things you might want to participate in!
